Expect more of school board candidates
To the Editor, In Hancock County, six candidates are vying to represent “we the people” in the upcoming election for School Board. In the past, little information was available about the candidates’ views on educational issues. In today’s world, I believe that we must understand the candidates’ educational ideology prior to voting. We have seen elected school officials across the Country imposing their values, not the values of the people who have elected them, upon the parents, guardians, children, teachers, staff.
