To the Editor, The coronavirus has done more damage to the soul of every human than a nuclear bomb being dropped on every city in the world. This pandemic has threatened 7 billion people on earth, not one nation was spared. Sheriff candidate outlines goals
To the Editor, In response to “Time for you to choose” from last week, the author’s analogy and logic are wrong. It was witty and entertaining, and I enjoyed their compliment of me “being quite a popular fellow.” But the facts are that being a deputy for years does not automatically qualify a person to be sheriff. It is about the man and his unique abilities and talents. A sheriff has completely different responsibilities and skill sets than does a deputy. To the Editor, I have heard of a man who, after working all his life and saving every dime he could, was ready at long last to build his dream house. Now there are three gentlemen offering to build it to his specifications at a most reasonable price. Each of them claims they will erect a home he would be proud of owning. To the Editor, Now, people have heard of hydroxychloroquine. Well, at least, some have heard a tongue-twister like that from the news, or, the dearest, Mr. Trump. Currently, he has made the decision to take the drug. Hydroxychloroquine is in a drug class called antimalarials. It is widely used to treat lupus and acute malaria as well as various other conditions. Although this drug may be effective for necessary, known, conditions, it shouldn’t be taken as a precaution.
